Can you feel the moist sand between your toes? Feel it running through your fingers as you grab a handful and wonder at the tiny particles that fill up the space beneath your feet. The sand holds many treasures. We can find beautiful, one-of-a-kind shells near the water's edge, some a tiny home for crabs, oysters, or clams. We dig underneath the sand and sometimes find a hidden treasure; a shark’s tooth, a vacant crab’s shell, or a magnificent shell buried deep by the ocean waters where no foot can crush —wonders of the sea.

Like the sandy shore, our treasures are numerous. They fill us up with love, kindness, courage, many talents, intelligence, expressions of hospitality, and generosity. Some we use daily.
